We would enjoy having you join our chapter. Be our guest at one of our monthly meetings or on one of our chapter rides and try us on for size. However, before we can welcome you into our membership, you will need to join STAR Touring & Riding Assoc. by going to www.startouring.org/join.aspx and completing the membership form. Message from our President
Welcome to Mountain View Chapter 479's website. This is our third official year as the 13th STAR Chapter to be added to the state of Pennsylvania. Our chapter is open to all makes and models of motorcycles, so please feel free to ride with us and see what STAR Touring is all about.
We know the workplace can be hectic and extremely stressful at times, but the weekends are your's, and it's time to enjoy yourself. Our chapter does not apply pressure to ride because we do it for the fun, good times and the friendships that come with belonging. So, dust off your bike and join us! STAR Touring is a family-oriented motorcycle organization and everyone is welcome. We all are looking forward to many enjoyable miles on the open road.

The STAR Mission Statement
To pursue, promote, and protect the interest of motorcyclists; to develop better and more enthusiastic relations between the general public, the media and the operators and riders of motorcycles; to encourage rider participation in events; to promote motorcycle safety and camaraderie among members, to promote organized events; and in general, perform them in a lawful manner.
